Our story begins with two powerful things; an unwavering passion for healthy hair and a bright idea!
It all started with a simple question from Nadine Ramos, Founder and CEO of Lasio Professional Products and Blessed Bananas.
"How do I utilize all the amazing benefits of Bananas for our hair?"
This question came to Nadine while she was feeding her two sons their favorite snack, Bananas! At that moment, Nadine started extensive research into creating what would soon be known as Blessed Bananas. She discovered that bananas were rich in vitamins A, D & E and much more!
With over 20 years of experience in creating quality hair products, Nadine was enlightened by the variety of nutrients and benefits contained within bananas outside of regular consumption. She found herself officially swayed on how banana oil could be utilized to achieve healthy, shiny, frizz-free hair. It was at this moment that she felt making banana oil a staple in her hair care routine would be a game changer.
While on this journey, she discovered an unexpected roadblock. To her surprise, Nadine found that the market was completely barren of banana oil. She then entertained the thought of purchasing it as a raw material, but even that was not available to her, or anyone for that matter.
As a seasoned and determined entrepreneur, Nadine switched her strategy to developing a Proprietary Banana Oil Blend of her own that will deliver the excellent benefits of bananas to one’s hair.
After an enormous amount of hard work, research, trials and triumphs, she finally extracted liquid gold in the form of pure and organic banana oil from deep layers within the banana's skin!
Her goal became to create a simple and effective product line that was safe for the entire family; that everyone of all ages and hair types could benefit from. As a result, Blessed Bananas Mommy & Me, Daddy & Me, and Single & Free masks were birthed.
